A bright, serene space to relax in the evenings. In the mornings, the kitchen at the front catches beautiful light, making it a wonderful place to start the day over coffee. One of the things we have loved most about the house is how effortlessly it adapts to daily family life. Having four spacious bedrooms spread across three floors has given us all the room we needed, whether for quiet, focused work, guests, or spaces for hobbies and growing up. The top-floor bedroom with its own private balcony is always a pleasant surprise for anyone who visits, offering a sunny, peaceful retreat high above the street. Outside, the backyard has been an extension of our living room during the warmer months. Facing northwest, it gets wonderful late afternoon and evening sun, ideal for unwinding or eating outside after work. With mature hydrangeas, lush greenery, and a covered patio area, it feels completely private while remaining very low-maintenance. Beyond the front door, Filmwijk Midden has been a fantastic place to live. The street is quiet, friendly, and peaceful, yet everything you need is just around the corner. “We are a family of three came to Netherlands as Highly skilled migrant visa, but Almere gave us the feeling of home. This house in Max Takstraat helped us to make home and host our family and friends many times. We are moving to a new city now, close to our working places. Since it is a four bedroom apartment and with specious garden we had many BBQ parties and accommodate few family friends to stay the nights. My husband had his own room with space to keep his office and gaming equipments and My son had his own bedroom with ample space for his toys. All rooms in the house opens up to the sunlight with large windows with green views. We had the space for laundry and the bedroom in attic was the room for art and craft as well as exercise equipments. We had a lot of memories in each of these rooms and had a great time. The hydrangea bushes both front and back gave us bloomy springs and a beautify garden. Hope the next owners will prune them and maintain them as they are truly beautiful and resilient. The surroundings of the house had a great advantage to us. the bus halt was just 30 meters away. The bicycle track was accessible from the back gate. We also had the electric charges installed in front of the house as we get to part our car in front of the house conveniently. The neighbours are very friendly and considerate. Always smile and greet with good morning when we see each other. There are few family also make and share fruit jams from their gardens. Its a quiet but a friendly neighbourhood. There are ample parking in neighbourhood and 4 public electrical vehicle charging stations in the Max Takstraat. There is a small beach that opens to the lake and we used spent summer evenings in that with many sand castles and picnics. In the beginning of the spring the cherry blossom trees fill with pink flowers and makes the whole neighbourhood come to life. In winter the park next to the lake allowed us to snow glide which made every season special to us. Hope you too will see how precious this house is in many ways in every season!”
